These Informants severaly say upon their Oaths: of about
a Eleven of ye Clock in forenoone of ye same day; these
Informts; came Into ye signe of ye magy ye in Holborne ; to
Drinck a Tankard of Drinck; & there these Informants severaly
say upon their Oaths; they found one John Ray< no role > ; & a Pson unknown
drincking in ye Sd house; by ye fire Side in a Roome in ye sd house
These Informants severaly further say yt one of these Informts
by name Mathew Barlow< no role > Charged ye abovesd John Rays< no role >
for being put in a Gazett some time Since for Robbing of an
appothycary in ye Minoreys; And these Informants severaly
further say: yt upon Charging of ye Sd John Ray< no role > wth ye aforesd
Robbery; he ye Sd John Ray< no role > made an attempt to make his
escape; ye PSon yt was wth him; did att ye Sd time make his
escape; & upon ye approach of these Informants in to ye Roome
where ye abovesd John Ray < no role > & ye PSon unknown was Drincking
then these Informts did see; in ye fire several stomps; for
Stomping of O & ford halfe Crownes; there being nobody in ye
Sd Roome; but John Ray & ye other PSon unknowne; &
Further Saieth not
