this County, Now Forasmuch as it is evident to this Court that the
aforesaid Order us also the short time that the Court of Goal Delivery
holden for this County hath confined themselves to for the triall
of prisoners comitted to the said Goal for felonys burglarys and
other offences is of great inconvenience to the publique For that
notwithstanding the great Diligence used by the Grand Jury in
their speedy finding Bills of Indictments six persons or more
against whom Bills of Indictment for Felonys were found we
delivered by proclamation at the Sessions at the Old Bayly the
fifteenth instant before such Bills could be transmitted thither
the Sessions there continuing but one day It is thought fit and
Ordered by this Court that Thomas Abney< no role > Esqr Chairman of this
Court be and he is hereby desired to attend the right honble Sr.
John pratt< no role > Knt . Lord chief Justice His Maties Court of Kings
Bench And represent to his Lordship the great inconvenience
ariseing to the publique by reason of the Shortness of the time that
the said Court of Goal Delivery hath lately confined themselves to
for the triall of prisoners And for that the said Court hath refused
to try prisoners upon Indictments sent thither after two of the
clock in the afternoon the second day of the Sessions of Goal Delivery
of Newgate holden for this County.

Monies}

Whereas by Order made by this Court on Tuesday the fourteenth
day of April instant It was Ordered that William Mount< no role > Gent high
Constable of the Liberty of the Tower (of London) in this County should
attend this Court on this present Thursday the Sixteenth day of
April instant at three of the clock in the afternoon to shew cause
why he had not levyed and paid unto Sr. Isaac Tillard< no role > Knt . Treasurer .
of the Moneys raised for the repair of the publique Bridges in this
County the several Sumes of Mony therein after mentioned assessed
by An Order made at the General Quarter Sessions of the peace holden
at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in and for this County by adjornment
on Thursday the seventeenth day of October now last upon the
several places therein after mentioned being within the said Liberty
for the raiseing of Moneys for and towards the repaireing of the
said publique Bridges (vizt.)

The Liberty of the Tower within£0:2s:1½d
The Liberty of the Tower without£0:16s:0d:
The Liberty of the Old Artillery ground £2:0s:5¼d
The parish of Trinity Minories £1:5s:6d:

Now upon hearing of what was alledged on behalfe of the said
William Mount< no role > that as high Constable of the said Liberty he is advised
he is not altogether under the Jurisdiction of this Court but that he is
subject to another jurisdiction, And that the Inhabitants of the
said Liberty insist that they are not lyable to pay either Bridge Mony
