Cort of opinion not
to make an Order
for eleccon of Officers
by way of ballotting

Whereas the consideracon of a matter relateing
to the eleccon of Officers (Vizt.) Such who have
Offices of Profit in the disposall of the Justices
of the peace of this County, by way of ballotting
only, was by Order made at the last Generall
Sessions of the peace holden for this County,
adjourned untill this present day, And the
said matter now comeing on to be determined
the question being whether this Court shall
make an Order that the method of electing
such Officers for the future shall be by way of
ballotting only, or not, This Court upon debate
of the matter Doth not think fit to make such
Order,
