At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden in and for the County of Middlesex at the Session house
for the said County (by adjournment) on Thursday the Twelfth
day of September in the Thirty third year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain Etc

His Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County in this present
Session of the Peace assembled Do Unanimously Reelect William
Mainwaring
< no role > Esqr Chairman of the General and General Quarter Sessions of the
Peace and Sessions of Oyer and Terminer for this County for and during the
half year now next ensuring.

By Adjournment same day.

The Chaiman having informed the Court of the Death of Mr.
John Davis< no role > the late Surgeon and Apothecary to the House of Correction and
New Prison at Clerkenwell .

Resolved that the said Office be declared vacant

Resolved that the Election of a proper Person, to fill the said
vacant Office be on the County day of the next Session and that the said
Election do then proceed by Ballot: The Ballot to commence at Ten o Clock
in the forenoon and close at Twelve o Clock of the same day.

By Adjournment same day.

The Chairman also acquainted the Court of the Death of the
late of Mr John Harwood< no role > Governor of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
in this County.
