complain to me of the hardships
"they sustain during the time of the Spair by a great number of
"persons bringing Ale & Beer in Carts from distant parts of the
"County & selling it to the great detriment of them who are regularly
"Licens'd"
To the Chairman & Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
"now assembled at the General Session of the Peace."
And the following Papers alluded to and inclosed in the said
Letter being also Read Vizt.
"Edmonton Statute.
"Will be held on Monday the 14th. Tuesday the 15th and
"Wednesday the 16th. of September next according to Annual Custom
"All persons desirous of erecting or having Booths Stands Etc
"must apply to Mr William Skilton< no role >
of Lower Edmonton
who is
"appointed by the Lady of the Manor to settle and agree for the same
"on her behalf, And Notice is hereby Given that all Booths Stands
"Etc erected without Application and satisfcation being made to the
