Resolved that the said Report be Received and Confirmed and that
the Clerk of the Peace do issue the usual Orders upon the Treasurer of this County for
the payment of the several Sums therein mentioned amounting together to the Sum
of £495..7s..11d.

The Clerk of the Peace laid before the Court the Proposals of Several Persons
undernamed to Contract for the Masons Work to be done in erecting the new intended
Bridewell
for this County which being opened and read. Vizt.

Resolved that the said Proposals be referred to the Committee
appointed in April Session 1786 to carry into Execution the Plan of a House of
Correction for this County, that they do consider the same and report their Opinion
thereon to the Court on the County day of the next General Quarter Session of the
Peace to be holden for this County and that in the mean time the Clerk of the
peace do receive any other Proposals that may be offered to him and lay the same
before the said Committee for their consideration.
