It being represented that Jall Benfield Person offering
himself as a Candidate for the Office of Keeper was attending at the Door
he was called in and having been asked whether he had any Petition to
present to the Court he informed the Court he was not prepared with one
not knowing it would be Expected at this Time but he declared himself a
Candidate for the Office and then withdraw.

of the Peace to be holden for this County.

Resolved that this Court will adjourn to Saturday the
15th. day of February next on which day the present State of the Goals under
the Jurisdiction of this Court, the fees taken by the respective Keepers
and what Regulations may be necessary to be made for the good
Government thereof in future be taken late consideration.

The following Minute of the Proceedings of the Court at the
last Session being called for and Read Out "It is the Opinion of his
Court that
Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591.
hath been Guilty of great negligence in his
Conduct to wards Sarah Baylls a Vagrant while under his Care and
"that he should be publickly reprimanded in open Court for the same"
and this Court being given to understand that the place appropriated
by Mr. Adams for the reception of the vagrants at Enfield
is not fit foe
the purpose being neither Wind nor Water light that a female vagrant
