the said Richard Jupp< no role > hath proposed agreed and undertaken
to and with his Majestys said Justices Assembled in the last
General Session of the peace holden for the said County by
Adjournment on Thursday the nineteenth day of this instant
February For the Considerations herein after mentioned (and
wherewith he the said Richard Jupp< no role > doth hereby declare
himself to be fully satisfied and contented) to Erect Build
make compleat and finish the said New Foot Path and to
do and perform the said Repairs and all Business relating
thereunto at the Rates and prices herein after mentioned
under the direction of Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esquire or such
other Surveyor as the said Justices shall for that purpose
appoint And it was there upon Ordered that upon his entring
into Contract with four or five of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace aforesaid in that behalf appointed and giving Bond
for the performance of such Contract he should be Employed
in and to do and Execute the said Repairs and Works Now
these Presents Witness that the said Richard Jupp< no role > for the
Considerations aforesaid hath Covenanted Contracted and
Agreed and doth hereby for himself his Executors and
admors Covenant Contract and Agree to and with the said
John Hawkins< no role > Sir Henry Cheere< no role > George Errington< no role > Bartholomew
Hammond and Benjamin Cowley< no role > their Exors and admors in
manner following (that is to say) That he the said Richard
Jupp his Exors or Admors shall and will find and provide
carry set up drive fix Employ and Use all such Oak Piles
as shall be wanting in the Erecting Building making and
compleatly finishing the said Now Foot Path or Bridge and
repairs not to be less than four in Number from thirty three fleet
to thirty six Fleet in Length and from fourteen Inches to seventeen
Inches Square in the Middle and allowing one square equal
to two wains at and for the rate or price of Ten Shillings and Six
pence by the Foot Cube including Iron Shoes and all labour and
