Procured a proper Lodgment at Stains Colnbrook
South Mims and Endfield , and shall produce
Orders of Conveying to the Treasurer executed by
him from the before mentioned Places.

And it is recommended by the Court to the said James Sturges
Adams
< no role > , to be particularly carefull in detecting any Vagabonds under
his Care who shall have been punished & passed for Offences committed
in this County. And upon such Detection the said James Sturges
Adams instead of Conveying is to detain such Vagabonds, and apply
to the Committing Magistrates for a Warrant of Detainer against
them, as incorrigible Rogues, of which Proceeding the said James
Sturges Adams, is at the next Sessions to Acquaint the Court.

And this Court do Agree with the Sentiments of the said Commee
that a proper Method of laying before this Court an Annual State of
the Expence this County is put to upon the Article of Vagabonds
would present many Irregularities.

Ordered That the Treasurer of this County do provide
a Book, and therein regularly enter the Account relating to
Vagabonds, Etc in the Method pointed out in the Report of the
said Committee, and do yearly present an Abstract of such
Account to this Court at the time and in the Manner proposed
in the said Report; and this Court will assign a proper
Recompense to the Treasurer for his Extraordinary trouble.

Ordered that the Clerk of the Peace do direct the
High Constables of this County to give Notice to the several
petty Constables , that they for the future, are to deliver to the
Treasurer of this County, all such Orders for conveying, and Orders
for Rewards for aprehending Vagabonds as shall be in their
Hands twice every Year at least, Vriz. at April and October Quarter Session
And that the High Constables and Contractor do the same, and
that the Treasurer do not receive into his Account any Orders not
delivered at the Times abovementioned without Special Order
of the Court.

Ordered That the Clerk of the Peace do on the first
Day of next December Sessions, present to this Court all such
Duplicates of Passes and Examinations as shall be returned
to Sessions from October Session last to October Session next.
And that such Duplicates be referred to the Committee.
