By Adjournment on Thursday 25th. Octr. 1759

An Account of Inquisitions having been produced before this
Court by Roger Jackson< no role > Esquire Coroner for the City and Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex therein mentioning the
same to be taken on View of dead Bodies in the said Liberty Since
the Twenty third day of April last and chargeable by Act of Parlt.
on the said County which Inquisitions contain the names of the bodies
viewed being Seventeen in number and it appearing unto this
Court by Writing under the Hands of Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and
Francis Bedwell< no role > Esquires Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the said County that they have exammed the said Account and
that there is due for the same to the said Corner the Sum of Seventeen
Pounds Twelve Shillings It is ordered by this Court that Mr John
Higgs Treasurer of this County do pay the said Sum of Seventeen
Pounds Twelve Shillings unto the said Coroner in full of his said
Demand whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a Suffict:
Discharge to the said Treasurer for such Payment.

By Adjournment on Thursday the 25th. of Octor. 1759.

Whereas by an Order of the Session of the peace holden for this County by Adjournmt.
on Thursday the twentieth day of February 1752. The keeper of the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell is to keep an Account in Writing of Work done in the said House
of Correction from one Session to another and by whom and to keep such an
Account weekly and also an Account of the names of those who have done
no Work and why not: and to deliver in the same in Writing the first day of
every Session of the peace for the said County for the Justices perusal It is new
Ordered that the said Keeper do for the future set down in such his Accounts of
Work done the number of each prisoner's Committment against his or her Name
and what they respectively perform.

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do
pay to Mr. Henry Wallbanck< no role > the Keeper of the House of Correction.
at Clerkenwell the Sum of nine Shillings and eight pence in full
of his Demand for Maintaining of Vagrants in the said House of
Correction And that the receipt of the said Mr. Wallbanck
together with this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the
said Treasurer for such paymt.
