By adjournment on Thursday the third day of June 1756

Order for appointing John
Tunstall and John Darbies
Constables of the Township of
New Brentford in the Place and
stead of Richard Howard< no role > and
William Farmer< no role > deceased.

Whereas Richard Howard< no role > exhibited his humble Petition unto this Court Setting forth
That the Petitioner has served the Office of Constable for the Township of New
Brentford in the County of Middx for the Space of fourteen Months last past and upwards
and that there will not (in all Probability) be any Court Lees held for the Manor of Boston
cum Brentford (within which Manor the said Township doth lye) for a long time so that the Petr
cannot be discharged from his said Office without the Aid of this Court And the
Petitioner therefore humbly prayed that he might be discharged from the said
Office of Constable and (in as much as William Farmer< no role > the other Constable of the
said Township was dead) that John Tunstall< no role > of New Brentford Cooper and
John Durbin< no role > of the same Carpenter might be appointed Constables of the said
Township in the place of the Petitioner and of the said William Farmer< no role > deceased
This Court being satisfied of the Truth of the Premisses doth appoint the said
John Tunstall< no role > and John Durbin< no role > to be Constables of the said Township of
New Brentford in the Place and stead of the said Richard Howard< no role > and
William Farmer< no role > and this Court doth Order that the said John Tunstall< no role > and
John Durbin< no role > do each of them personally attend James Clitherow< no role > Esqr . one of
his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for this County or some other Justices of the
Peace for the said County residing in or near the said Township and forthwith
take his corporal Oath before the said James Clitherow< no role > or other Justice as aforesaid
for his due Execution of his said Office of Constable within the said Township
And from and after the time of their leaving taken such Oath the said Richard
[..] is to stand absolutely discharged from being Constable of the Township
of [..] Brentford aforesaid.

Order for confirming a Report
concerning County Rate money
received & disbursed by Mr.
John Higgs< no role > Trearer

A Report being made unto this Court by Bartholomew Hammond Theodore
Sydenham Stephen Clark< no role > and John Cox< no role > Esqr . Justices of the Peace of this County
concerning the Account of Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of the said County of moneys
by him received upon a Rate or Assessment in October Session last upon the
respective Parishes and Places in this County by virtue of the Act of Parliament
made for the more easy assessing collecting and levying of County Rates It
appeareth to this Court by the said Report that the several Sums of money received
by the said Treasurer upon the said Rate and charged in the said Account do in
the whole amount to the Sum of One thousand two hundred seventy four pounds
fourteen Shillings and ten pence three farthings And that he hath disbursed thereout
several Sums of money amounting in the whole to the Sum of One thousand two hundred
fifty six Pounds fourteen Shillings and four pence so that there is now remaining
in the hands of the said Treasurer the Sum of eighteen pounds and Six pence
three farthings This Court doth agree to the said Report and doth ratify and
confirm the same and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed accordingly.
