Order of Recomendation
to the Inhabitants of
Hackney
to cause Robert
Wright Esquire one of the
Coroner
of Middx
to be
psecuted for a Misdeor}
It being represented unto this Court That
Robert Wright< no role >
Esquire one
of the Coroners of this County did sometime since extorsively and
unlawfully exact and receive Moneys on occasion of his sitting as
Coroner
to take an Inquisition on View of the Body of a Person lying
dead in the parish of Hackney
in the said County pretending the same
to be due to him as Coroner, and that the exaction and receiving such
Money is unlawfull and unwarrantable, This Court is of Opinion
that the same is a Misdeameanor and an Offence for Which the said
Coroner
ought to be prosecuted in his Majestys Court of Kings Bench
at Westminster
to the Intent that such Abuse may be prevented for
the future and that he may have and receive (in case he be convicted)
such Judgment as the said Court shall think fit to pronounce against
him for the said Offence Whereupon it is recommended by this Court
unto the Churchwardens Overseers ofthe poor and principal
Inhabitants of the said parish of Hackney
that they will please to Cause
the said

the Coroner
to be prosecuted in
thehis Majesties
Court of Kings Bench at Westminster
for the Misdeameanor and
Offence abovementioned to prevent such Abuse for the future.
