support and maintenance by Quarterly payments (to wit) at
Michaelmass Christmass Lady Day and Midsummer by equal
Portions the First payment thereof to be made As Michaelmas next
And Also if the said William Pentlow< no role > do and shall from Time
to Time during his being Keeper of the said Prison at his Charge
do or Cause to be done the small Repairs necessary to be done to
the said Prison and the Dwelling House thereto belong (to wit)
scowring employing cleansing and glazing And Also if the
said William Pentlow< no role > do and shall yearly during the Time he shall
Continue Keeper of the said Prison also pay the sum of Twenty
pounds a year Residue of the said sum of Thirty pounds a year
to the Treasurer of the said County for the Time being by Quarterly
payments (to wit) at Michaelmas Christmass Lady Day and
Midsummer aforesaid by Equal Portions the first payment thereof
to be also made at Michaelmas next for the doing of Grand or
other Repairs to the said Prison and Dwelling House of the Court
of General or Quarter sessions of the Peace for the said County
shall find such Repairs necessary to be done or otherwise the said
sum of Forty pounds a year to be subject to the Order of
Court touching the Disposal thereof And in Case the Court of
General or Quarter sessions of the Peace for the said County shall
Order and Direct the said sum of Twenty pounds a year to be paid
to any other Person ir Persons That then if the said William
Pentlow do and shall from Time to Time well and truly pay
the same unto such Person or Persons and in such manner as
shall be so ordered and Directed And if he the said William
Pentlow his Executors or Administrators do and shall from
Time to Time well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the
Sheriff of the said County for the Time being or his Agent for
the use of his now Majesty King George the second his Heirs
and successors all such sum and sums of money as have been
or shall be imposed and set for any Fine or Fines by any
of the Justices of the peace for the said County assembled
at any of their General or Quarter sessions of the peace held
within the said County on any Prisoner or Prisoners Committed
or to be Committed to the custody of the said William Pentlow< no role >
as Keeper of the said Prison for any offence or offences by
them Committed and which shall or without his or their
