At Westminster on Thursday in the Week next
after the Feast of Sr. Michael the Arch Angel
to wit the Tenth Day of October 1751.

Order for appointing
Jno. Palmer< no role > Constable
of ye. Parish of Ashford
in the Place and Stead
of Wm. Blades< no role > }

Upon the Humble Petition of Wm. Blades< no role > Constable of the
Parish of Ashford in this County exhibited unto this Court
Setting forth that he hath served the office of Constable in the
said Parish for five Years and that there is no Liklyhood of
a Court Leet being held in the Manor and he therefore prayed
to be discharged from his said Office And upon Reading the
Recommendation of the Rt. Honble the Earl of Kinnouth P
Jno. Goodchild< no role > Esqr . two of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the
Peace of the said County touching the Election of a Person to
be Constable of the said Parish This Court doth thereupon
appoint Jno. Palmer an Inhabitant of the said Parish of
Ashford to be Constable of the same Parish in the Place and
Stead of the said Wm. Blades< no role > and doth thereupon Order
that the said Jno. Palmer< no role > do forthwith after Notice to
him given of this Order attend one of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace of this County residing in or near Staines
Division in the said County and forthwith take his Oath
before such Justice of the Peace for his Due Execution
of the Office of Constable within the Said Parish of
Ashford and from and after the Time of his having
taken such Oath the said Wm. Blades< no role > is to be
discharged from his said office of Constable.

Upon Inspecting the Bill of Mr. John Brown< no role > Carpenter Consisting of a great many
Particulars accounting in the Whole to the Sum of Three Hundred and Ninety Eight
Pounds Eighteen Shillings and Four pence half penny for Oaken Timber Plants
Posts Rails Icon Lead Giavel and other Materials by him found provided and
Used in and About the Repairing and amounting Such Part of a Publick Bridge
Commonly Called Chertsea Bridge Wch. is in the County of Middx and hath been
antiently and usually repaired at the Charge of the Inhabitants of ye same County and
also for his Workmanship Cava Labour and Pains in and about doing the sd.
Repairs This Court upon hearing of Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esquire one of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the said County who was Surveyor of the said
Works P Several Times Surveyed the Same and who had Inspected the aforesd.
Bill wch. is signed as examined by the sd. Mr. Mainwaring being Satisfyed
