at the said House or Places called The New Wells in breach of his Said
Recognizance Whereupon It is now further Ordered by this
Court that Thomas Hurford< no role > Gent . High Constable of the Said
Division do in the mean time resort to the Said House or Place
called The New Wells to See what Transactions are carried
on there by the Said James Dance< no role > This name instance is in set 4337. or any other Person or
Persons there and by whom by his Permission or Procuremt.
And to lay an Account thereof in Writing before the
Committee of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of this County
herein after named (to wit) Thomas Lane< no role > John Milner< no role >
Henry Butler< no role > Pacey Henry Norris< no role > Robert Tothill< no role >
Barwell Smith< no role > , Robert Paul< no role > , Peter Elers< no role > , William
Withers, George Errington< no role > Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Henry Cheere< no role >
Thomas Smith< no role > John Lawton< no role > and Walter Berry< no role > Esqr . or any
three or more of them at Hicks Hall on Thursday the thirteenth
day of the Said Month of September next at ten of the Clock in
the forenoon to whom It is hereby recommended and referred
to take the aforesaid Account to be laid before them by the Said
High Constable , and to inspect the Same, andtomake their
Report touching the Matters therein mentioned to the Court on
the Said Thursday the thirteenth day of September next
being the County day of the Said Sessions at two of the Clock in
the Afternoon And Notice of the Said Meeting is to be given to
all the Said Justices of the Peace .

By adjournment on Thursday the twelfth day of July
1750.

to attend the Court at
Hicks Hall the next
Sessions.}

This Court having had Information that Interludes, Plays,
Farces and other Entertainments of the Stage are Still acted
or performed by Common Players of Interludes, Actors or
other Persons at a House or Place called Goods mans Fields
Wells in the Parish of St. Mary White< no role > Chappell within The
Tower Division in this County now or late in the Occupation
of William Hallum< no role > , which this Court is of opinion he Should
not have permitted to have been therein acted or performed, And
he having Some time Since entred into a Recognizance in two
hundred Pounds penalty Upon Condition that he do personally
appear at the next General Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be
holden for this County in the Month of October next to answer to Such
Matters and things as on his Majestys behalf may be objected
against him, And that he do wall demean himself and be of his
good behaviour in the meantime, And it being alledged that the
Said William Hallum< no role > hath Since the time of entring into the Said
Recognizance broke the Condition there of by permitting
Interludes, Plays, Farces, and other Entertainments of the Stage to
be acted or performed at the Said House or Place called Goodmans fields
