Order for Mr. James Dance< no role > This name instance is in set 4337.
Occupyer of the House a Place
called The New Wells in the
Parish of St. James Clerkenwell
to attend the Court at Hicks
Hall the next Sessions.}

This Court having had Information that Interludes, Plays
Farces and other Entertainments of the Stage are Still acted
or performed by Common Players of Interlades, Actors, or other
Persons at a House or place called The New Wells in the Parish
of St. James Clekenwell within Finsbury Division in this
County now or late in the Occupation of James Dance< no role > This name instance is in set 4337. , which
this Court is of opinion he Should not have permitted to have
been therin acted or performed, And he having Some time
Since entred into a Recognizance in two hundred Pounds
penalty upon Condition that he do personally appear at the
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden for this
County in the Month of October next to answer to Such Matters
and things as on his Majestys behalf may be objected against
him and that he do well demean himself and [..] be of his good
behaviour in the mean time, And it being alledged that the
Said James Dance< no role > This name instance is in set 4337. hath Since the time of entring into the
Said Recognizance broke the Condition thereof by permitting
Interludes, Plays, Forces and other Entertainments of the
Stage to be acted or performed at the Said House or Place
called The New Wells, It is thereupon Ordered by this Court
that the Said James Dance< no role > This name instance is in set 4337. do personally attend the Court of
the next General Sessions of the Peace to be holden for this
County by adjournment on Thursday the thirteenth day of
September next at two of the Clock in the Afternoon of the Same
day to Shew Cause why the Said Recognizance Should not
be estreated into his Majestys Court of Exchequer .

Whereas by an Order this day made by this Court It is Ordered
that James Dance Occupyer of a House or Place called The New
Wells in the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell within Finsbury
Division in this County do personally attend the Court of the next
General Sessions of the Peace to be holden for this County by
adjornment on Thursday the thirteenth Day of September next
at two of the Clock in the Afternoon of the Same day to Shew Cause
why a Recognizance by him entred into in two hundred Pounds
penalty Should not be estreated into his Majesty< no role > 's Court of
Exchequer for his having permitted Interludes, Plays, Farces
and other Entertainments of the Stage to be acted or performed
