in such behalf made, And it is further Ordered by this Court that
the said Estimate of Repairs necessary to be done to the Middx
Side of Chertsea Bridge be advertised in some publick News paper
in Order to be Inspected by any Workman who will undertake to
do the same And that Mr. Higgs do Settle the form of such
advertisement with the Clerk of the peace of the County of Surry.

By adjournment. on Thursday the 8th. Day of September
1743 .

Order for Mr. John Higgs< no role >
the County Treasurer to
pay £2..11s..10d to Mr.
Charles Marquand< no role >
Carpenter for work by
him done to Brentford
Bridge since the delivery
of his former Bills

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this
County do pay unto Mr. Charles Marquand Carpenter the Sum
of two pounds Eleven Shillings & ten pence half penny due to
him upon his Bill beginning the Thirteenth Day of January
1742 for Work by him done to Brentford Bridge since the delivery
of his former Bills And that the said Sum be allowed to the
said Treasurer upon his Account.

By adjournment on Thursday the 8th. Day of September 1743.

Order for Mr. Higgs the
County Treasurer to pay
£5..16s..6d to Mr. James
Prelleur by him disbursed
in relation to Chertsea
Bridge }

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this
County do pay unto Mr. James Prelleur the Sum of £1..14s..6d by
him disbursed on the Tenth Day of August 1743 for half Charge
of the Dinner at the White Hart at Chertsea at the Meeting of
the Middx Committee of Justices with the Surry Committe of
Justices of the peace Concerning the Repairing of Chertsea
Bridge and Twelve Shillings more by him paid for Chaize hire
and Horsehire Etc and also the Sum of two pounds disbursed
by the said James Prelleur< no role > on the thirty first Day of the
same Month of August for half Charge of another dinner
at the White Hart at Chertsea at another Meeting of the
said two Committees concerning the repairing the said Bridge
and the further Sum of £1..10s..0d by him disbursed for the
Hire of a Coach and four Horses for the Justices of the peace
of Middx who went from London to Chertsea about the repairs
of the said Bridge and for Expences upon the Road which
Several Sums of £1..14s..6d £12..2s. and £1..10s..0d amount in
the whole to the Sum of Five pounds Sixteen Shillings & Six pence
and that the Same be allowed to the said Treasurer upon his
Account.
