By Adjournment on Thursday the 19th. Day of May 1743 .

Order for Mr. Higgs the
County Trearer to pay
£24..12s to Mr Henry
Walbanck Keeper of the
House of Correction at
Clerkenwell for the
passing & relieving of
Vagrants & Vagabonds}

It appearing to this Court by Certificate Dated the Nineteenth Day of
May Instant under the Hands of Merry Teshmaker Francis Hole< no role >
and John Elliott< no role > This name instance is in set 3963. Esquires Justices of the peace for this County being of
the Comittee of his Majestys Justices of the peace for this Court
Stating and adjusting the publick accounts of the said County that they
have perused the Account of Mr. Henry Walbanck< no role > Keeper of the House
of Correction at Clerkenwell in the said County beginning the Sixteenth
Day of April one thousand Seven Hundred and Forty three and
ending the Nineteenth Day of May in the same Year and that they
have Examined the same with the Vouchers and find that the Sum
of Twenty four pounds & Twelve Shillings is due unto the said
Henry Walbanck< no role > upon the said Account for the passing and
relieving of Vagrants and Vagabonds untill the Nineteenth Day
of May aforesaid inclusive and the said Henry Walbanck< no role > praying
that he may be paid the Sum It is ordered by this Court that
Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the aforesaid Sum
unto the said Henry Walbanck< no role > in full of the Moneys due to him upon
the said Account for the passing and relieving of Vagrants & Vagabonds
untill the said Nineteenth Day of May aforesaid Inclusive and
that the said Treasurer be allowed the said Sum upon his
Account.

By Adjournment on Thursday the 19th. Day of May 1743.

Dutton

Information being given unto this Court by Francis Hole< no role > Esqr . one of
his Majestys Justices of the peace for this County that John Dutton< no role >
Carpenter having brought in a Bill amounting to Sixteen Shillings
for an Oak Cant post and putting down the same in the foot passage
near the Corporation Workhouse at Clerkenwell and for mending a
Leaden pipe< no role > being Work done on behalf of this County, and that the
said John Dutton< no role > desires to be paid the moneys due to him for the said
Work. This Court is of Opinion that the said John Dutton< no role > ought to
be allowed the sum of twelve Shillings only upon his said Bill
And doth thereupon order that the said Sum of Twelve Shillings
be paid by Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County unto the said
John Dutton< no role > infull of his said demand And that the said Sum
be allowed to the said Treasurer upon his Account

Information being given unto this Court by James Clitherow< no role > Esqr.
one of his Majestys Justices of the peace for this County that
he hath disbursed the sum of one pound Six Shillings & Eight
Pence on account of Brentford Bridge in the said County which
hath not been yet paid to him It is ordered by this Court that
the said Sum be paid by Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County
unto the said Mr. Clitherow, and that the said Sum be allowed to
the said Treasurer upon his Account.
