peace for the Said County or any three or more of them to meet
to gether at the Dwelling House of the Governor of the Said
House of Correction on Thursday the Seventeenth day of
June instant at ten of the clock in the forenoon, and to take a
View of the Footway or passage above mentioned, and to
consult what proper method may be taken to prevent the
Same from being used as a comon or publick way for
coaches carts or other carriages to pass & repass along the
Same, And it being alledged that the other houses above
mentioned or Some of them do belong to the right honble.
the Countess Dowager of Northampton This Court doth
direct that notice be given to Mr. Middleton Steward to the
Said Countess to desire him to be present at the Meeting of
the Said Committee at the time above mentioned
concerning the matter aforesaid, which Committee are
desired to make their Report touching the premisses to the
Court of Sessions of the peace for the Said County.

Whereas Henry Wallbanck< no role > Keeper of the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell in this County hath exhibited his humble Petition
unto this Court Setting forth that the Dwelling house belonging
to the Said Gaol is in a very ruinous & bad condition, and
unless repaired in due time will be in Such decay that it
will be attended with a very large expence to Support the
Same, And that part of the Said Gaol is in a very ruinous
condition, and the materials belonging to the Same for
the Security of Prisoner therein are likewise very much
out of repair, nor are there Sufficient materials for the
Safe keeping Such Prisoners, And the Petr. therefore
praying this Court to consider the premisses and to grant
him Such releif therein as to this Court shall seem meet,
It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby
recomended and referred unto the Committee of his
Maties Justices of the peace for this County appointed to
State & adjust the publick accounts of the Said County and
particularly unto Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire Sr. Joseph Ayloff< no role >
