Order for applying
the Rents of the
Estate belonging
to the County of
Middx to reimburse
Treasurers the
Moneys by them
advanced for
repairing of
Hicks hall
Etc
Whereas divers Sumes of money have been by
Vertue of severall Orders of the Generall or Quarter
Sessions of the Peace of this County advanced by
way of Loane by the respective Treasurers of the
Moneys received for the Relief of Maimed Soldiers
and Mariners, and for the Marshalsea Kings
Bench and Hospitals or other Treasurers which
Sumes have been applyed for and towards the
repairing of the Sessions House called Hicks hall
in St. John Street
in this County and makeing
the additionall Buildings and Alterations
thereto and providing of Tables, Chairs Curtains
and other Furniture for the Same fit for the
accomodation of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for this County, And this Court being of
Opinion that such Moneys ought to be refunded
to the said Treasurers Doth Order that the
cleare Annuall Rents of the Estate belonging
to this County to be hereafter received shall
be applyed for refunding and paying back to the
Said Treasurers such Moneys as have been
or shall be borrowed of them for the purposes
ex
