This Court being sensible of the great services done for
this County by Robert Thornhill< no role > Esqr . Chairman of
the Generall & Quarter sessions of the peace for the
sd. County in the impartiall & prudent a cunnistracon
of Justice, Doth as a gratefull acknowledgemt.
thereof Order that the thanks of this Court for the
same be and they are hereby given to the said
Chairman,

P adjorn die Veneris prime die Septembris 1721 .

This Court being Informed that a very great Number of Extracts
of all the statutes relating to the paveing and Cleansing the
Streets Lanes and other Publique places comprised within
the Bills of Mortality have been printed and delivered to the
Clerks of the respective Petty Sessions in every Parish and
Division within the said Bills of Mortality in this County in
pursuanance of an Order made at the General Sessions of the
Peace holden for this County by adjornment on the Sixth day
of December last in order to be distributed to the Inhabitants
whereby they might have Notice of the said Laws & Penalties
therein contained and cause the streets Lanes and other
Publique Places within the said Bills of mortality in this
County to be effectually cleansed and paved in order to
prevent the Plague and preserve his Majestys Subjects in
passing the streets, And this Court being satisfied that
a considerable Sume of money ought to be raised for
defraying the expence of printing and delivering the
said extracts Its of Opinion and doth think it most just
that the said Expence be defrayed and paid by the
Scavengers of the several Parishes and places within
