Upon reading the humble Peticon of John Slapp< no role > exhibited unto
this Court Settingforth that he hath been at greed Expences in
the publique Service of this County, and hath Severall accompts
concerning the Same yet unsettled , And the Petr. praying that a
Comittee may be appointed to inquire into the Same, and make
their Report accordingly It is ordered by this Court that It be
and It is hereby recomended unto Sr. Richard Reynell< no role > Bart .

his Maties Justices of the peace for this County, and Such
other Justices of the Peace for this County as Shall think fitt to
be present or any three of them to Peruse and inspect the Petr.
accompts and examine what expences the petr. hath been at in
the publick Service of this County, for which he ought to have an
allowance, and what allowance is proper to be made to him
in respect thereof, and whether he hath reced any & what Sume
or Sums of money for or forwards Satisfaccon of his Said
expences, And to report their opinions touching the
Premisses unto his Maties. Justices of the peace of Thursday
next in this present Sessions.

them two accompts, true coppys
whereof are underwritten

Mr. Seymore hath reced of John Slapp< no role > £45.0s.0d

John Slapp< no role > acted in the year 1714 as.Messengr. to
the Leintenancy for about 8 Months & the remainder
of they year the Sd Slapp acted for Mr. Seymour and
did all the duty required, wth Mr. Seymore is now intituled
& hath or may receive 17.4.8 the accts. being Past in last
Qr. Sess:} £17.4s.8d
