And first the Informant
Frances Williams for herself saith that on
Saturday last between 8 & 9 o'Clock in the
Evening the Prisoner
& another Lad came into
the Shop to buy a pair of Stockings & whilst
she was engaged in other Business hearing
as Bustle & one of them more she turned
round & missing some Cloaths from a Shelf
she cried out she was robbed & upon a Cry
of Stop Thief the Prisoner
who had run out of
the Shop was secured & brought back &
the Goods now produced were picked up in the
Street And the Informant

for herself Saith that being in the Shop of
Mr. Williams in Fore Street
buying some
Articles she saw the Prisoner

as he stood
in the Shop with the Goods now produced under
his left Arm &
that theShop Door being open
be imediately ran away with them accd this &
Informant
Peter Cuttil for himself saith
that being in Fore Street
& hearing the cry
of Stop Thief, he secured the Prisoner
who was
running & brought him back & the Goods produced
were afterwards taken up within a few Yards of
the Place where he stopped him
