maketh Oath and saith That the above named Deft. Mary
Wilcox having been fully committed to take her Trial at the last
April Old Bailey
sessions to this Deponent
gave Directions to the
Clerk of the Arraigns for preparing the necessary Indictment
that the same was accordingly prepared-That no Business
having been transacted on the second day of the said sessions
this Deponent apprehended and verily believed that the Grand
Jury would not be discharged till the afternoon of the Monday
after the Commencement thereof-That on the Morning of
Monday following the Commencement of the said Sessions
this Deponent
and his Witnesses attended at the Sessions
House for the purpose of giving Evidence before the Grand Jury
and finding the said Bill but this Deponent
was then
informed to his great suprize that they had been discharged
the Saturday preceeding-That this Deponent
preferred an
Inductment against the said Mary Wilcox< no role >
on the third day
of June last and the same having been found by the Grand
Jury this Deponent
obtained a Judges Warrant thereon and
used every means in his power to get the said Mary Wilcox< no role >
apprehended and after much Trouble & Expence to this
Deponent
she was taken the 14th. Day of July and committed onor aboutthe
Fifteenth day of Julylast And this Deponent also
saith That he did not omit to attend the Grand Jury
during their setting at the April Sessions out of any
