The King against Samuel
Radenhurst on the Prosecution
of George Frazier< no role > for Perjury

James Bowdery< no role > of Black fryarsRoad in the County
of Surry Meltor and William Bowdery< no role > of Pepper
Street in the Parish of Saint Saviour in the Borough
of Southwark Carman severally maketh Oath and
say And first these Deponents both say that they
became Bail for the said Samuel Radenhurst< no role > at
the last January Session at which time the said
Samuel Radenhurst< no role > Appeared and Pleaded to the
said Indictment And this Deponent William Bowdery< no role >
for himself saith That before this present session he
called on the said Samuel Badenhurst< no role > to enquire if
he had taken the necessary steps and care respecting
the Tryal of the said Indictment to which the said
Samuel Radenhurst< no role > reply'd Notice of Tryal was
given and every thing that was necessary done for
that he was to receive his Tryal on the Sixth day of
March then instant and that he had given a Brief to
Council on words to that on the like effect And this
Deponent having informed the other Deponent the
above Circumstances they conceived nothing further
was necessary And these Deponents both say that they
have been informed that the said Samuel Radenhurst< no role >
should have taken out a Venire which these Deponent
were ignorant off or they would have done it And these
Deponents further say that the said Samuel Radenhurst< no role >
is now in Newgate by Virtue of [..] Warrant having
Neglected to take out the said [..]
