WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum,
by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Andrew in Holborn

who hath deserted

aged five Years were
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and were likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Margaret as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Margaret and her said
Son
to be in the said Parish of Saint Mary le Bone
in the County of Middlesex
and that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and
require you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Andrew in Holborn
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Margaret
and her said Son
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Mary le Bone
in the County of Middlesex
And her deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our order, who is and are hereby required to receive and
provide for her according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals this 5th. Day of January One Thousand
Seven Hundred and eighty eight
