Severally make Oath as
follows, And first this Deponent James Jones< no role >
for
himself Saith that John Sellers< no role >
of Long Lane West
Smithfield
in the City of London
Gentleman
is a
Material Witness for the Deponent and without whose
Testimony this Deponent cannot with Safety take his
Trials And this Deponent further Saith that he did on
Tuesday the Eighth day of January Instant cause a
Subpoena to be Issued in Order to serve the said John
Sellers with and hath Caused all due Diligence to be
used to serve the same but without Effect and which said
Subpoena is hereunto annexed, And this Deponent

for himself Saith that he did on
Tuesday the Eighth day of January Instant go to the
Lodgings of the said John Sellers< no role >
in Long Lane West
Smithfield
aforesaid [..] to serve the said John Sellers< no role >
with a Copy of the said Subpoena but was there informed
by Mr. Hanks Hair Dresser the Master of the House that
the said John Sellers< no role >
does Lodge there, but that he was
gone into some part of Yorkshire
on Business and would
not return for three Weeks or a Month and which
Information this Deponent believes to be true.
