as this Deponents hath been informed at
the return of the said Recognizance in Good
and Sufficient health to have appeared &
taken his Trial but that both he and the
other Defendants were kept back by the
prosecution and by the means and
Contrivance of Joseph Fletcher< no role >
one of
the Defendants and this Deponent Lastly saith
that he hath attended this Honorable Court
all the Sessions from day to day since
the finding the Indictment aforesaid (except
"of a Session which through extremer Illness
"this Deponent was unable to attened)
And this Deponents verily believes that the
Various Notices of Trial given to this
Deponent as a given under and by the
direction of the said Joseph Fletcher< no role >
for
the purpose of harrassing the Deponents
and to first him he Expence and troubly
and for no other Came whatsoever but hath received no Notice for this and
hath heard that he goes about from one
Publick house to another speaking in
Reproachful Perry of this Honr: Courts on
Ansr: of this matter
