The Examination of Hannah Ozeley< no role > taken on
Oath the 20th day of February 1786 beforeustwo
of his Majestys Justices. of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex .

Who on her Oath Saith That she is a Servant to Richard
Notely of Woolpack Alley Hounsditch London and that
about Six or Seven Months ago her Master the said Richard
Notely, William Brown< no role > and Harry Fossatt< no role > and Thomas
Burdett Brought home to her Master house a Black
Silk Clock and a Silver Corril Gilt Brown said
he would carry the Clock home to his wife, and
the Corril he left with this Deponent, in whose
Custody it now remains, And Richd. Notely her Master
paid them Six Shillings for their share towards the
Corrill and the Cloak was given up to Brown by
them all.

Saith also that on Thursday seven night Last being
the Ninth day of February Instant about Ten or Eleven
O'Clock at Night Thomas Burdott brought a Watch
to her Masters house which she hath now in her
Custody in a Leather Case marked with Juk 145
and desired her to take care of it till her Master
came home and at the same time told her that
her Master was gone to a Cockfight at purple
Lane near Grays Inn Lane , her Master same
home about Twelve o'Clock that night he being
then disguised in Liquor she offered him the Watch
which he refused and desired her to take care of the
same till the Morning, In the Morning she again
offered it to her Master but he would not receive
it and desired her to take care of it till he
