To the Right Honble Richard Clark< no role > Esquire Lord Mayor of the City of
London and the rest of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said City
and the Liberties thereof in their General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles in
the Fields in the County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of the Right Honble Richard Clark< no role > Esquire Lord Mayor and
Thomas Skinner< no role > Esquire two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said City and Liberties thereof bearing date the Twenty ninth
day of September last Joseph Davis< no role > Sarah< no role > his Wife and their Child
Joseph< no role > aged about Seventeen weeks were Removed and
Conveyed from and out of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn London
to the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields as the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Joseph Sarah his Wife and their said Child whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore most Humbly Appeal
to this Court against the Adjudication of the said
two Justices and their said Order And pray that
Your Worshipwill be pleased to appoint a day
in this present Session for the hearing and
determining their said Appeal
