To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Sepulchre
in the City of London , and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn
above Barrs in the County of Middlesex
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Sepulchre
London, That Benjamin Wheatley Margaret
his Wife and their Two Children namely
Ann< no role > aged Twelve Years and upwards and
Elizabeth< no role > aged Four Years and upwards had
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Benjamin as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Benjamin< no role >
to be in the said Parish of Saint Andrew of
Holborn
and that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty< no role > 's Name to will and
require you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Sepulchre
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said a Benjamin
Wheatley and his said Wife and Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of
Middlesex
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this first Day of Augt. One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty three.

The Man aged 43 & settled by Keeping an Hower in spread Eagle court at 10 a Year for
above Six Months in the Year 1776 & The Woman & Children not settled with him the Marriage
being Illegal married by Mr. Crawford a Romans Catholic Barber at Hall in Yorkshire .
