The Information of Benjamin Neale< no role > , Elizabeth
Ann Arnett
< no role > and Frances Barnett< no role > taken of Oath
the Fifteenth day of November 1783 before me David
Wilmot Esquire one of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the said County of Middlesex

This Informant Benjamin Neale< no role > Saith that on Monday the third
day of November Instance About half an hour after Eight O'Clock at
night he was sent by Mr. Richard Swaddle< no role > who keeps a [..] hear the Royal
Exchange London to Fryingham Alley Pettycoat Lane< no role > in the
Parish of Christ Church with a Bag with same thing in it but
doth not know the Contents thereof And as he was going through
Widegate Street into Petty coat Lane three men was standing at
the Coroner of Widegate street two of the men ran away to some
distance and the other man took the bundle away from him,
accordingly he hallowed out stop thief when one of the two that
first under Examination ran after and pursued him into a Shop in
Smock Alley .

This Informant Elizabeth Ann< no role > Arnett Saith That on The [..] third
of November Instant a little before Nine O' Clock in the Evening she was
going to Mr. Jones's Wine Vault< no role > the Corner of Widegate Street by
Petty coat Lane in the Parish of Christ Church where she saw
Benjamin Neale< no role > with a Bundle in his hand and a Person stopping
seemingly to speak to him and about five Minutes afterwards she
saw Samuel Baker< no role > and Samuel Abrahams< no role > the Prisoners now
under Examination together at the Coroner of Widegate street before
mentioned and that Samuel Baker< no role > was the Person who stooped
down as before mentioned and that [..] he ran by her
side very fast with a Bundle in his hand and Samuel Abraham< no role >
following him

This Informant Francis Barnett Saith that she was present
with the above named Elizabeth Ann< no role > Arnott in Petty coat Lane
on the third day of Novmeber Instant as above mentioned and that
she saw Benjamin Neale< no role > in Petty coat Lane and heard him cry out
stop thief and on looking round she saw the Prisoner now under
Examination running fast along and that the said Samuel
Baker then had a Bundle in his hand and in a few Minutes
the said Benjamin Neale< no role > came up to her and asked her if she lead
seen two men go by [..] she told him she had and the
one of them had a Bundle but they was then out of Sight
