The joint and several Informations of
Cornelius Swift< no role > This name instance is in set 4138. of Shoe Lane , London Pewterer , and
Francis Dukes of the same Place, Tallow Chandler
Who being on Oath severally say And First the
said Cornelius Swift< no role > This name instance is in set 4138. for himself saith that Yesterday
Afternoon, about Five O'Clock as he was sitting in
the Kitchen of his House, Informant heard the
Parlour Lock Snap Informant thinking there was
a Customer, went out, and saw the Parlour Door
open, on which he enquired of his Wife, whether
she had left the door open On being told she
had not, Informant went into the Parlour, and
missed the Following china Articles now produced,
to wit, a Tea Pot, a cream Pot, Five Cups, two
Basons, seven Saucers, and a butter Plate which
are his Property, and of the Value of Five Shillings,
the other Informant Dukes told him he saw a
Woman go out of Informant House, both
Followed the Prisoner, and on searching her, the
above Articles were Found in her Possession
And the said Francis Dukes For himself saith,
that he saw the Prisoner come out of the House
of Informant Swift, apparently with some
things hid under her Cloak.
