Who being on Oath severally say And First the
said
Elizabeth Bickham< no role >
for herself saith that on
Friday last about Five O'Clock in the Evening, the
Prisoner
now under Examination,
Thomas Simes< no role >
was coming out of the Yard of the George Inn
, Smith Field
and his right hand was under his Coat in a manner as
though something was concealedInformant From
this Circumstance suspected the Prisoner, and Stopt
him, insisting he should walk back into the Yard
the Prisoner without hesitation, went back, and as he
was going, Informant saw him drop one of the Bridles now
ProducedInformant charged him with stealing the
Bridle, which the Prisoner deniedSays that the
two Bridles now produced are of the Value of Five
Shillings and upwards And the said William
Edwards for Himself saith, that he was present in
the Yard, and saw the Prisoner throw away one of
the Bridles now Produced And the said
