To the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor< no role > of the City of
London and the rest of His Majesties Justices of the peace of the
said City At their next General Quarter Session of the Peace
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Little Warley in the County of Essex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order under the hands and Seals of
Sir Watkin Lewes< no role > Knight and Evan Pugh< no role > Esquire two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the City of London and
Liberties thereof (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the
Seventh day of April Instant Mary (therein called) the Wife
of William Mathews< no role > a Sailor and their three Children
Namely Mary Ann< no role > Aged Ten Years William< no role > Aged Seven
Years and Margaret< no role > Aged two Years were removed from
the parish of Saint Andrew Hubbard London unto the
said Parish of Little Warley in the County of Essex as the
places of their legal Settlement.

Your Petitioners Conceive themselves Aggrieved
by the said Order, Appeal to this Honourable
Court against the same And humbly Pray Your
Worships to Appoint a day for to hear and
determine the same

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc.
