Middlesex Commitments.

1 WILLIAM Thompson< no role > , otherwise William Bennett< no role > , in Tothillfields
Bridewell , committed by W. Addigton, Esq ; on oath of
Thomas Wooldridge< no role > , and another, on suspicion of having
feloniously assaulted Henry Webb< no role > , on the highway, in the county of
Stafford, put him in fear, and feloniously taken from his person several
bills and cash, to the amount of 900l. his property. Dated Oct. 20, 1780.

Detained on oath of Henry Webb< no role > and others, for feloniously assaulting
him on the King's highway, in the county of Stafford, putting him in
fear, and feloniously taking from his person bills of exchange and cash
to the amount of 900 and odd pounds, his property. Dated Oct. 25,
1780.

Detained on oath of William Johnson< no role > and Mary Thomas< no role > , for feloniously
assaulting them on the highway, in the county of Middlesex , putting
them in fear, and taking from their persons a guinea and half and some
silver. Dated Nov. 1, 1780.

2 Elizabeth Baker< no role > , in Tothillfields-bridewell , committed by S. Wright, Esq;
on oath of Richard Westgarth, for stealing 4s.6d. his property. Dated
Oct. 23, 1780.

3 John Price< no role > , in Tothillfields-bridewell , committed by S. Wright, Esq;
on oath of Moses Murrant< no role > , on suspicion, and detained on oath of
Thomas Summers Cocks< no role > and others, for stealing a silver box and several
silver coins, his property. Dated Nov. 2 and 6, 1780.

4 Thomas Tyler< no role > , in Tothillfields-bridewell , committed by S. Wright, Esq;
on oath of Richard Morrison< no role > , for knowingly by false pretences obtaining
from him, in the city of London , a quantity of silver plate and jewellery
of the value of 200l. and upwards, with intent to chear and defraud him
of the same. Dated Nov. 2, 1780.

Detained on oath of Henry Young< no role > , for knowingly and designedly, by false
pretences, obtaining from him, in the city of London , a quantity of
silver plate and jewellery, value 931. with intent to cheat and defraud
him thereof. Dated Nov. 2, 1780.

Detained on oath of Galpine Baxter< no role > , for knowingly and designedly, by
false pretences, obtaining from him, in the county of Middlesex , 2 pier
glasses, value 7 guineas, with intent to cheat and defraud him thereof.
Dated Nov. 8, 1780.

coining, and counterfeiting the copper money of this realm called far-
