The Information of William hailer of little Bath
Street Coldbath Fields France work knutter taken upon
Oath this 19th day of July 1780 before me William
Hyde
< no role > Esquire one of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace in and for the said City and Liberty, who saith
that on the Night, Mr. Langsdales House and
Premises was pulled down set on Fire and Demolishd.
he went from his House aforesaid to view it
he went very near the House, when he saw one
Jane Bracknal< no role > , who lives in Clement Lane Clare
market , Beating at a Cubbard to break it open
he also observed a great quantity of Things in her
Apron he said to her (knowing her before) do you
know what you are doing, and the bad consequences
that will Attend it, you are liable to be hanged for it
she laughfted at him, and proceeded on, this
Deponant moved a little farther off. and in a few
minuets saw her bringing out of he premises
of Mr. Langsdale a Box this Deponant said to a
Young Man< no role > who was standing by him, take
that Box from that Woman, it is a shame she
should be suffered to carry it [..] way, the young
Man took it from her, and set it on the ground
she then fell upon this Deponant in a most
violent manner and began beating him and
said you are a Woman Rogue and that his
House should be pulled down that Night and
soon two, this Deponant then went home
