14 John Mills< no role > , from the Poultry-compter , committed by the right honourable Sir
James Esdaile< no role > , Knt . Lord-Mayor , on oath of Robert Cox Trapp< no role > and others,
for stealing 3 cheeses, value 14s. the property of the said Robert, and of George
Hicks his partner. Dated Dec. 13, 1777.

15 Martha Browning< no role > , from the Poultry-compter , committed by the right honourable
Sir James Esdaile< no role > , Knt . Lord-Mayor , on oath of Henry Wild< no role > , for stealing a
child's black silk cloak, a pair of shoes and a pair of buckles. Dated Dec. 15, 1777.

16 Joseph Norrison< no role > , from the Poultry-compter , committed by the right honourable
Sir James Esdaile< no role > , Knt . Lord-Mayor , on oath of William Annard< no role > and another,
for stealing a cheese, value 3s. Dated Dec. 16, 1777.

17 Lyon Lyons< no role > , from the Poultry-compter , committed by the right honourable Sir
James Esdaile< no role > , Knt . Lord-Mayor , on oath of Edward Smith< no role > and others, on
suspicion of feloniously breaking and entering his dwelling-house between the hours
of 2 and 3 o'clock in the night of the 18th instant, with intent to commit a burg-
lary therein. Dated Dec. 23, 1777.

The said Lyon Lyons< no role > also charged before the right honourable Sir James Esdaile, Knt.
Lord-Mayor, on oath of Thomas Goodall< no role > and others, for feloniously shooting at
the said Thomas Goodall< no role > on the 19th instant December, in the ward of Chandlewick ,
London, with a pistol loaded with powder and ball, against the form of the statute.
Dated Dec. 23, 1777.

18 John Coleman< no role > , from the Poultry-compter , committed by Mr. Alderman Pugh,
on oath of Jacob Hern< no role > and others, for stealing a large copper pot, the property of
the said Jacob, from his dwelling-house. Dated Dec. 24, 1777.

19 Thomas Miller< no role > , from the Poultry-compter , committed by Mr. Alderman Pugh,
on oath of Edward Smith< no role > and others, for feloniously and burglariously breaking
open and entering his dwelling-house on Friday the 19th of December instant, in
Gracechurch-street , with intent to commit felony and burglary therein. Dated
Dec. 30, 1777.

The said Thomas Miller< no role > also charged before Mr. Alderman Pugh, on oath of Thomas
Goodall, for attempting to fire a pistol at him the said. Thomas Goodall< no role > the 19th
of December instant, in this city, whilst on his duty as one of the watchmen of the
wardWithin. Dated Dec. 30, 1777.

20 Matthew Mathison< no role > , from the Poultry-compter , committed by Mr. Alderman Pugh,
on oath of Mary, wife of Robert Grant< no role > , and another, for stealing 3 guineas his
property. Dated Dec. 30, 1777.

21 William Phillips< no role > , from the Poultry-compter , committed by the right honourable Sir
James Esdaile< no role > , Knt . Lord-Mayor , on oath of John Thorold Darewin< no role > and others,
for being concerned with some person not taken in stealing in the shop, being part
of his dwelling-house, 10 pair of silk stockings, value 5 guineas. Dated Jan. 5, 1778.

Mayor, on oath of John Woodward< no role > and others, for stealing a basket containing
40 pounds weight of butter, value 30s. the property of Joseph Wadsworth< no role > , Dated
