Peace for the City of London in Quarter Session
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary White
Chapel in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by a Pass Warrant or Order Under the Hands and Seals
of Sir Thomas Halifax< no role > Knight and Frederick Bull< no role > Esqr
two of His Majestys Justices of the peace for the said City of London
bearing Date the twelfth Day of March One thousand seven hundred
and Seventy Seven Elizabeth Lowrey< no role > the Widow of Hugh
Lowrey
< no role > Deceased was removed and Conveyed from and out of
the parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate London to the
said parish of Saint Mary White Chapel in the said County
of Middlesex as the place of the last legal Settlement of the
said Elizabeth Lowrey< no role >

That your Petitioners apprehending themselves Agrieved by
the said Pass Warrant or Order of the said two Justices
do therefore humbly Appeal Against the same and Pray
that your Worships will be pleased to Order the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Saint Botolph
without Aldgate London and all Persons Concerned to
Attend this Court

to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of
the Court touching the said Appeal And that Your
Petitioners may have Such relief therein as to
Your Worships shall seem Meed.
