Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Sepulchre London
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Precinct of White Fryers in the City of
London. That Thomas Croker< no role > and his three Children
Jane< no role > aged thirteen years Mercy< no role > aged Eleven years and
Sarah< no role > Aged Eight years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Thomas Croker< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Thomas Croker< no role >
to be in the said Parish of Saint Sepulchre London
and that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the saidParish of Precinct of White Fryars in the City of
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Thomas Croker< no role >
and his three Children Jane, Mercy and Sarah
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Sepulchre London
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 5th Day of July One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy Six .
