fishing rods and 2 cases, his property. Dated June 25, 1777.

of Peter Clarke< no role > and Joseph Deadman< no role > , upon suspicion of having feloni-
ously taken and rode away in the county of Essex 4 horses, the property
of the said Peter Clarke< no role > and John Posford< no role > . Dated May 29, 1777.

Detained by Sir John Fielding< no role > , Knt . on oath of Peter Clarke< no role > and John
Tanner
< no role > , for felonioulsy receiving in the county of Surry , 2 horses, the
property of the said Peter Clarke< no role > , knowing the same to be stolen; for the
