a Blank Bank Note for fifty pounds in the hands of Isaac
Roy
< no role > who lives in or near Fleet Lane which he said he had
from the said Robert Ryland< no role > , that one Nathaniel Lee< no role > a Jew
knew of the said plates being engraved and was to have gone
abroad to have put off some of the forged Bank Notes if they
had been completed at that Time, that after the said Probyn
had agreed engrave the Plates above mentioned this Informants
communicated her Scheme of getting Bank Notes forged to Edward
Barker
< no role > who had been Stationer and knew something of the
Manufacturing of Paper, that the said Barker promised to assist
in getting Paper made to resemble the Paper upon which Bank
Notes are printed that the said Probyn and this Informant went
to Several Bird cage Makers to get a Mold made to make the
Paper from and one Bird cage maker directed them to one
Brewer near Dartford , that they went to the said Brewer and
got a pair of Molds made but without the words Bank
of England worked therein, that the said Probyn and this
Informant afterwards worked the words Bank of England
in the said Mold and the said Edward Barker< no role > afterwards carried
the said Mold to the Paper Mill belonging to one Daniel Eaton< no role > near
Guilford where the said Barker at 3, different Times got three or four hundred
sheets of Paper made from the said Mold with the Words Bank
of England wrought in the Substance of the said Paper, that
one Foreshaw was the workman who made the said Paper
[..] d the said Mr. Eaton knew of the same being made with
the words Bank of England therein that the said Paper
was all brought to this Informant's house in Wyld Street
where it remained for some weeks and them it was all
