The Informations of Mary< no role > the Wife of William
Wright
< no role > at the third house in Gun Court Petticoat Lane [..]
Drawer , and Stephen Jones< no role > one of thea Watchmen of Widegate
Alley Bishopsgate Street .

Who being on Oath Severally and respectively say and first
the said Mary Wright< no role > for herself Saith that about three O Clock on Tuesday morning
last as she was going along Widegate Alley she saw two men who are new present
and who call themselves Edward Linch< no role > and John Whitaker< no role > come out of the house
of a Mr. Sims in Widegate Alley aforesaid That when they came out she saw
Whitaker with a Bag, across his Shoulders which she supposes was the property
they took out of the house as she has since been of informed there was a great
deal of property last. Saith she is Positive the said Linch and Whitaker are
the same Men who came out of the House of the said Mr Sims. and that
Whitaker who had the Bay [..] went toward,
Bishopsgate Street, Crossed the same, Went to the white Hinde in the same street
and drank a Penny Glass of Gin at the Bar and then went away, and that
Linch when he came out of the house immediately went towards Spittlefields
Further saith that at the time she saw them come out of the House they were both
dressed on Brown Cloaths and further saith not. And the said Stephen
Jones for himself saith that about 12 O Clock on Monday night last two men who are
now present who he well know [..] whose names are [..] Edwd. Lynch< no role > and John Whitaker< no role > Passed by
the Deponent at the Bottom of Widegate Alley was Petticoat Lane . When this
Deponent said to them consulantly what Jacky and Neddy. That about One O'Clock on ye
Tuesday morning a Gentleman passed this Deponent and said to him Watchmen
there are two ill looking fellows under the Gateway in Brown Cloaths Great Coats
and Flapt Hats I am afraid they are upon no Good Further Saith that about
three O'Clock the same morning the said Mary Wright< no role > informed this Depts. she was going
to the White Hinde for same Gin. That on going his Rounds he found the de [..] of Mr
Sims's House [..] a [..] open and in going into the Passage he found shaw Empty
Boxes and then perceived the Shop had been robbed and [..] and larmed the samely
and then found the Cellar Window had been broke open.
