This Informant Joseph Barker< no role >
on his Oath Saith
that he and William Phillips< no role >
and William Thomas< no role >
took [..] a
Box out of a cart near the Castle and Falcon
in Aldersgate
Street
in the City of London
on the 14th Day of March last past and
Carried the said Box with the Contents into Chick Lane
this
Informant Seeing three men following them with an Intention
as he beleived to Stop them and Box his Informant whent into the
Marquis of Grandbys head in Chick Lane
and Desired John

to comcout and Assist him upon
which they came out and John Hawkins< no role >
Struck one of the
Men which was following them and then they [..] took the Box
to Mrs Shaws house in Chick Lane
or west short and John Pedly< no role >
knowed thereupon and then they
Opened the Box and found it full of Cut Glass which they sold
to Mrs Shaw for twelve Shillings Six Shillings of which this Infor
mant received at that time himself and John Pedley< no role >
was told
by Mrs Shaw to come the neat morning for the other Six Shilling
which was for him and John Hawkins< no role >
and John Pedley< no role >
told this Informant that he had received the same
