Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish ofAllhallows the Great in the City
of London

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof,one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint James at Garlickhith in the City of
London, That Jane Boyce< no role > Widow of John Boyce< no role > deceased is
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, andislikely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath ofthe said Jane Boyceas otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the saidJane Boyce
to be in the said Parish of Allhalows the Great in the City
of London
and that hithertosheought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish ofSaint James at Garlickhith in the City of
London, forthwith to remove and convey the saidJane Boyce
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish
Allhallows the Great in the City of London
Andherdeliver unot the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order who is and are hereby required to receive a pro-
vide forheraccording to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this1st Day of July One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy five
