Middx Pawnbrokers
is a very material Witness against the said William Powell< no role >
and
without whose Testimony this Deponent (who is the Prosecutor) cannot
Possibly convict the said William Powell< no role >
and this Deponent
upon his Oath further Saith that the said Robert Sturgeon< no role >
attended
at Justice Hall last Thursday before the Grand Inquest but
was obliged to go home being very illthat this Deponent
upon receiving a Letter from the said Robert Sturgeon< no role >
that he
was ill in bed with a fever and sore throat went [..] yesterday to
his House where he found the said Robert Sturgeon< no role >
in Bed
with a violent fever and sore throat as this Deponent was
informed then by the said Robert Sturgeon< no role >
and verily believes
and this Deponent further Saith that he verily believes that the
said Robert Sturgeon< no role >
cannot attend the Trial of the said William
Powell this Session without great risk of losing his wife
