Who being upon Oath say and first the said John Edgar< no role >
for
himself says that the said John Tracelove< no role >
published as true yesterday
at Messrs. Child & Co Banker at Temple Bar
a Warrant or Order
for the payment of Money now produced purporting to be the
Order of Thos. Nadham< no role >
upon Messrs. Child & Co for the payment
of forty pounds to Mr. William Bird< no role >
or Bearer dated Decr.
29. 172, and further says that he does verily believe the
said Order for payment of money to be falsely made forged and
counterfeited with Intention to defraud and the said John
Tracelove for himself says that a person now present who
calls himself Thomas Jekyll< no role >
delivered the said order for
Payment of money to him yesterday desiring him to go to Messrs. Childs
the Bankers and receive the Money for it and to leave the
said Money at the Bar of Anderton's Coffee house
