WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City [..]
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Alphage
London, That Eleanor Torrie< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. Widow of James Torrie< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. deced
whose Settlement cannot be found and their two Children
to wit Eleanor< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. aged Two Years and upwards and Ann< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.
aged one ear did
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Eleanor Torrie< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Eleanor Torrie< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. and her said
two Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint John at Wapping
and that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Alphage
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Eleanor Torrie< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.
and her said two Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint John at Wapping
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there; or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this Sixth Day of November One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy One
