The Information of William Rowe< no role > taken
before me this 18th. day of December 1771

Who being upon Oath says that a person now present who calls
himself Joseph Stoper in employed in stamping Letters at the General
Post Office. that on Monday last he saw the said Joseph Stoper< no role > secrete
a certain Letter now produced under his Coat that he immediately
took the said Joseph Stoper< no role > into the Comptroller's Office at the
said General Post Office and there the Said Joseph Stoper< no role > took out
the said Letter from out of his Breeches
