Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Paul Covent Garden
in the County of Middlesex
Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seal of the Worshipfull

the Aldermen of the said City of London
and one of his
Majesty Justices of the Peace
for the said City bearing
Date the fourth day of May instant

a Rogue and Vagabond was conveyed from the Parish
of Saint Bridge
in the said City of London
to the said
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden
as the Peace of her
last legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be aggrieved And against the said
Pass Warrant do Appeal to the County
Your Petitioners therefore most humbly Pray
that your Worships will be pleased to appoint
some Day in this Present Session for the hearing
and determining of the said Appeal And to Order
that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor
of the said Parish of Saint Bridget and also
persons concerned do then Attend this Court
And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
